These shoes worked well being the first time out in them. I walked a strenuous course and they held up. The cushioning in them could be just a bit better because my heels did start to hurt by hole 16. In the wet grass my feet never lost traction (thumbs up!). The only thing I didn't care for is that the white shoes strings turned a dingy/green color within a few holes. As of now I would recommend them. Overtime, I will see how the soft spike holds up because they are not replaceable.

Keithp you sound a bit whiney wa wa. These shoes are AWESOME not going to whine about "white shoe laces" getting a bit dingy since I am not walking through deep rough or mud. Yeah helps when you play from the short grass plus they sent me a matching green pair of laces free. The bottom line is these are the most stable most comfortable golf shoes out there. I have 2 pair and they get compliments everytime. I wore these Saturday playing 2 days after having a very bad ingrown toe nail removed on the left big toe. Not once was there any discomfort nor did my heel hurt after 16 holes. I could wear these all day if they didn't have spikes. I play everyweek at least twice so I know golf shoes. The overpriced molded sneakers which have no traction in wet conditions don't compare. You will love these shoes.

I have worn these shoes a few more times while playing and have decided they are still a 4. Walking 18 holes they hold up pretty good. If the terrain is fairly flat then my feet feel fine. If the course has extreme ups and downs then my feet do start to hurt. I wouldnt say they are the best but they are great for the price.

I purchased a pair of Whitesmiths just last week and wore them out on the Hole Course for 18 holes (walking) yesterday....what a comfortable pair of shoes right out of the box. I couldn't be happier. I have other golf shoes but I don't think they will be worn again anytime soon. Thank you Kikkor for a great shoe!

These kids just arrived in the mail. Tried 'em on. These are some sweet ass kicks. Stoked. Totally comfortable.
