Cleat Pattern

The pattern of the cleats in the forefoot have been tactically arranged to provide optimal traction throughout the swing, from takeaway to finish. The cool part about VEKTRboard™ is that it doesn’t matter if you’re left or right handed – the traction will work effectively for either handedness.

Cleat Undercutting

To understand how each forefoot cleat works, first think about a bear climbing a tree. Their claws are noticeably curved so they can not only dig in but also pull up with tremendous power. Similarly, golfers need the most traction from side to side, to help them push off in the down swing and resist spinning-out in the follow through. Conveniently, VEKTRboard™ features forefoot cleats with undercutting to deliver claw-like traction in the direction that it’s needed most.

Heel Stability

It’s important that the heel remains stable and strong during the swing. VEKTRboard™ possesses simple vertical heel pegs to keep the golfer securely planted along with a support shank to resist rotation and bending in the outsole.

Kikkor Koosh™ Midsole

The Kikkor KOOSH™ midsole provides added cushioning for the golfer while aiding to the shoe’s stability. It also allows for minimal shoe weight.
